It important to note that this particular connector option is not available in model types outside of New Zealand due to distinct brake controller regulations governing trailer setups.
Our New Zealand and Australian models utilize a 2-pin connector labelled 'NZ/Aus.' This connector configuration enables the charging circuit to draw power from the tail lights of the towing vehicle. It is important to note the battery charger will only charge when the tail lights of the tow vehicle are on.
In the case of our US models, the battery charger is connected to the tow vehicle's AUX 12 Volt connector and will operate if there is 12 volts at the AUS terminal on the tow vehicle.
